||Floyd Family Breakdown
||The music of The Floyd Family Breakdown is infectious, uplifting, and just makes you want to sing along, holler ‘n’ shout, tap those feet or get up and dance!The Floyd's delve into the country music heartland to dish up their own down home jambalaya of originals and good ol' Country and Western tunes. The band's unique sound echoes their love of old school country, hillbilly, bluegrass, blues and western swing; they could easily be the love child of Bill Monroe and Ruth Brown - with a gene pool of Carter Family and Bob Wills thrown in.With a truck load of musical experience between them, the Floyds have been working the floorboards since January 2014, writing songs, researching old-time roots music, refining their sound, recording and gigging solidly. The Floyd Family Breakdown are Paula Hackney (vocals, rhythm guitar), Andrew Palmer (acoustic guitars, dobro, mandolin, banjo), Tony Moore (bass fiddle), Chris Gillespie (fiddle).
