Name: Avalon Swing
Brief Blurb:

Vibrant acoustic swing, with a touch of French café!

Take the cobblestoned side street off Rue de l’Église. Follow the elegant wrought iron lamps to the corner. Find the sidewalk café huddled beneath a striped canopy. Tiny clusters of tables and chairs hum to the rhythm of hushed conversation and percussive guitar. Feet swing and tap to an infectious bass. Sit and order wine or an aperitif. An elegant melodic line lightens your spirit. A warm vocal evokes a sigh, and the memory of a song you’ve always loved. The piano accordion is joyous. Uplifting. Unfurling. Energising. Musique pour l’esprit!

Avalon Swing is an art deco inspired celebration of music made fresh to lift the spirit and lighten the heart. Enjoy tunes from Django Reinhardt’s repertoire, the American songbook, French street music, and inventive reworkings of much loved favourites.

Avalon Sky is Mia O’Brien on vocals and guitar, Tim O’Brien on guitar, Sam O’Brien on electronic wind instrument (EWI), Kay Sullivan on piano accordion, and Peter Freeman on double bass.
