Name: Melody Graves and the Hokum Redemption
Brief Blurb:

Digging deep into the delta of old ragtime, swing and country blues Melody Graves and the Hokum Redemption rise with a musical salvation of trusty resonator, washboard, mandolin, trombone and once heck of a sound to get you stompin' and swingin' and feeling those sweet lowdown blues.

Festivals are great places to meet like-minded folk, and yes seriee that's how this hokum bunch came to be. Taking a break from the main stage PJ and Dennis suddenly heard the most amazing sound rolling across the night sky - the sweet syncopation of Piedmont blues style guitar. With a holler from PJ (the loud one in the group) 'Big D' was soon jamming away at the campsite and Melody Graves and the Hokum Redemption were born.

Melody Graves is Paula Hackney (PJ) who sang and played her heart out with The Ragtone Ramblers and The Floyd Family Breakdown. The Hokum Redemption are: Dennis Duigan from The Ragtone Ramblers, who also plays a mean banjo (Dennis Duigan Music) and expresses his country side with Pine Mountain Cartel. You can catch Dean Morgan on the Gold Coast and surrounds playing with the Presidential Blues Band; and the phenomenal Bayden Mitchell on double bass; and Richard Ferrari sliding on the Trombone.
