||If sensitive acoustic singer-songwriter James Taylor and venerable bluesman Leadbelly had a baby they'd have named it Steve Case. Born and raised in Wagga Wagga, NSW - a country locale best known for producing stars on the sporting field, Steve Case has defied the odds to establish himself as a promising singer songwriter in the blues, country, rock idiom. After growing up exploring his parents' record collection which consisted of a who's who of 70's acoustic rock staples including America, Neil Young and Creedence Clearwater Revival, Case discovered blues music when he was asked to present a blues program at his local radio station. Immediately drawn to the rawness and the realness of the blues, these are the influences that permeate his recordings and live performances. Now based in Brisbane, a fertile breeding ground for some of Australia's most popular bands and artists and world-renowned live music scene, Case is bringing his unique brand of "new blues" to northern audiences.
Please contact Steve Case through the website.
