The BUg BAzAAr
The BUg BAzAAr is a bold new monthly night of live music in West End. To be held at Mirrorball Ministries on the last Thursday of each month. It opens with the Dead Song Society - a joyful, stripped-back community singalong. Two feature acts follow: an intimate acoustic set, then an upbeat, dance-ready band.
Grassroots, volunteer-powered, and proudly community-driven. Fresh sounds, shared voices, and a little BUg mischief in the mix. Presented by volunteers from The BUg - Brisbane Unplugged Gigs
THE FORMAT
The format for the evening is similiar to The BUg (New Farm):
6.30pm - doors open
7pm - Dead Song Society, hosted by Bec Hoole (AKA indie artist Pipin), is a bold new community-singing project inspired by the spirit of Dead Poets Society, celebrating creativity, connection and joyful rebellion. Gather to sing fun, quirky songs, embrace your inner mischief-maker, and discover the freedom that comes from raising voices together. Carpe cantum - seize the song!
7.45pm - first featured act
8.45pm - second featured act
